Members shall subscribe to the objectives of the society.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3269afd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3269afd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A person, having attained the age of 18, who subscribes to the objectives of the<br \/>Society and who fulfills the requirements set forth in these Articles of the Society<br \/>shall become a member thereof upon filing the necessary application to this effect to<br \/>the Executive Committee.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b0cbf5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b0cbf5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Classes of membership. There shall be five types of membership: full membership,<br \/>student membership, associate membership, institutional membership and honorary<br \/>membership.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e7856b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2e7856b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Full Membership<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f7a41c6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f7a41c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A . Membership is open to all who have a minimum of first degree in Agricultural<br \/>Economics or other related field and who subscribe to the objectives of the Society.<br \/><br \/>B. Members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 150.00 (five hundred) and an annual<br \/>membership fee of Birr 300.00 (three hundred).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e2f7284 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e2f7284\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Student Membership<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d560c02 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d560c02\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Membership is open to registered students of Agricultural Economics or other related<br \/>field in a college\/university and who subscribe to the objectives of the Society.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-08a9791 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"08a9791\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Student members shall pay a registration fee of Bir 100.00 and annual membership<br \/>fee of Birr 100.00 (three hundred) and will be full members upon graduation. When<br \/>becoming full member, they are required to fulfill the payment requirement stated<br \/>under IV.Ib.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element institutions within and outside the country that<br \/>subscribe to the objectives of the Society.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Institutional members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 1,000 (One thousand) and an<br \/>annual membership fee of Birr 4000 (One thousand) or the equivalent in convertible<br \/>foreign exchange at the current exchange rate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-697c06e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"697c06e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Institutional members shall not have the right to elect or be elected to the offices of<br \/>the Society but they can participate in other members<\/p><p>\u00a0All full members of the Society shall have equal rights in matters that<br \/>pertain to the Society.<\/p><p>&#8212;<br \/>Full members shall have the right to take part and vote in the General<br \/>Assembly of the Society, to elect and be elected to its offices, to receive information on its activities provided, however, that only<br \/>Ethiopians by nationality and foreigners of Ethiopian origin might be<br \/>elected as officers of the Society.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Membership is personal to the individual or the institution concerned<br \/>and as such is not subject to transfer or assignment to third parties.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b84f49d elementor-widget However, if members<br \/>discontinued their membership for reasons beyond their control, and in<br \/>such cases, the application is found acceptable to the Executive<\/p><p>Committee, re-registration shall be authorized after paying the re-<br \/>registration fee and the normal annual fee.
